The World Cup Taekwondo Team Championships began in 2006, and is held every two years by World Taekwondo.

Most commonly/colloquially it's "Taekwondo practitioner" but in more formal speak it's "Taekwondo-in" where "in (pronounced even)" in Korean means "a person of"

Taekwondo kicks are extremely difficult to master. You'll need a lot of feedback, supervision, and instruction over a long period to learn them properly. You can get instruction online, but you won't get supervision or feedback.

Because Taekwondo techniques focus on kicks, hand movements, grappling techniques, and overall improved control of your body, it can also be valuable for self defense and help protect you if you are in a fight or are being attacked.
